It's a real disaster. First New Zealand now Japan. My thoughts are with all of those affected by these events. I hope none of the forum members, their relatives and friends were affected by this disaster.
I got a news from my Ricoh contact that all Ricoh employees and their families are OK. Two Japan factories suffered some damages form the earthquake, but luckily not by the tsunami. Of course, all material damages are unimportant. What counts are people's lives.
I thought about starting a RicohForum fund to collect some money for the earthquake relief. But I discussed the matter with my Ricoh contact and he suggested to donate directly to some established organizations. It would make the things much easier and faster, not to mention PayPal would cut their fee from all donations made through the RicohForum donation system.
So guys, if you would like to help, please use these reliable and secure ways to help the Japanese people affected by the ongoing disaster. Thank you in advance!
