close-ups with GR wide and more

Postby riccadonna » Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:50 pm

This time I went to Copenhagens Les Halles to have a snack. Sure enough I was looking for some motives. I put my wide converted on and started with close-ups of fish.At ca 10-15 cm distance you need to stop it down to at least 5.6 and even that is not enough, but then a diffraction begins at f; 9.5. Well the rest is a history as we use to say at the end. Ciao Stanislaw

Some interesting close up photographs of what we eat. Is this a theme you are pursuing?
Also like the colourful flowers. Thanks for sharing.

ronniemac.
Beside my liking eating fish, this time I just thought what can I do with GR and wide coverter on. Of course food can have some drama in it. Many painter were intrigued by colors and shape of carcasses, for example. Sometimes it`s good to put just one lens on camera or tale just one camera with fixed lens and try to see what you can do with it. Well, all smarphones use something near 28mm eq. lenses. Not so many people have or use a good quality wide converter on them and using something like 21mm eq. takes a bit experience. Otherwise my main theme to pursue is street photography. I know that it became lately widely used and misused topic. Is just pointing at something in the street a street photography? There are many subdivision of it and each one have raison d`etre.
