Hardly any rain down here this winter, so no seasonal flowering this time.
The Caper (Capparis spinosa) manages to hold its own, usually sprouting in cracks between stones. I spotted a young one today in a pretty improbable place - in a crack on a big boulder, completely exposed - stubborn little guy.
The other shots show other specimens - the bud can be pickled.
The GR had trouble focusing - had to use pinpoint focus.
