I saw the elephantfigures and shapes and remember instantly the shadowplay at the 20th anniversary of the school of my son yesterday.

Train coming...to no train coming...not even a camel in sight! ;)

I loved these buidlings when I first saw them on a cycle run to the Cemetry of the Nameless Ones (victims of drowning accidents; they are prone to getting washed up at this particular site). I guess this area must be ripe for redevelopment, so I promised myself a return visit for more photographs.
Incidentaly I passed this sight again a couple of months ago and noticed a couple of fashion photo shoots in progress around these old and very atmospheric buildings...

ralphB - which railroad is that photo from? Looks to be a two foot line. Unfortunately, I'm not so good at identifying the preservation lines anymore.

Thanks.

Hi Eric. The railway line was at Cierny Balog in Slovakia, and I believe it had been used for transporting timber from the forests.
My knowledge of gauges is very limited and all I can say it was narrow gauge ?

Best wishes, Keep shooting great Pic's. ralphB
