GRD IV high ISO RAW samples, please

Postby mr.datsun » Sat Aug 09, 2014 2:41 am

Hi. I'm thinking about buying a GRDIV and want to see what I can achieve with ISO 1600 RAW photos in PP. I can only find high ISO RAW photos of bookshelves!

Can anyone point me in the direction of some 1600 ISO GRDIV files to download, please? Ordinary shots of the everyday that I could practice on?

Basically interested to see if I like them as much as the ISO 1600 from GRDI. Thank-you

Hi.
I have both (GRD1 and GRD4). I can upload some examples for you, but tomorrow :)
Do you need daylight shoots or night shoots?
PS: The GRD1 at 1600 iso is gritty and has more noise (film like) compared to GRD4.

Hi Kaver, sorry - only just saw your reply. That would be very kind of you!

Yes, I have GRDI and I like the grittiness. I want to see if I can get something that I like from GRDIV as I think it will be the last one of the CCD-based GRDs.

I would like daylight or at least electrical light indoors, please.

Ok, give me time (1-2 days).
But you can't get the GRD1 grain at high iso with GRDIV ;) That's for sure.

David, I know it won't be GRDI grain but I'm still interested to see what i can get out of it with PP. If it looks Ok, I may decide to buy one.

Thank-you

I tried to send via private message but I guess the files were too large.
Send me your email address and I will send some photos I took this morning.
Nothing brilliant but taken at 1600 ISO
My email is austinohara@gmail.com

Cheers,

Austin

Austin. PM'd you.

David, still very happy to receive more, if you have time to shoot and upload any.
