Using my CX6 for astro photos

I wish my CX6 had full manual control but its zoom is quite incredible and I've been having fun using it to take some astronomy photos

This is a pic of the moon, taken in colour. I took 400+ pics and used software which selected the best ones and stacked them together

This is a picture of the nebula in the Orion constellation. It is the middle star in the 'sword' hanging down from his belt

I made a filter to block out most of the sunlight and took this picture of a sunspot

Interesting idea, Looeee: yet to tilt my Ricoh gear at the night sky.
