Although I have the LX3 now, my GRD II is definatly staying. The GRD II is pocketable where the LX3 is not really IMHO

After using both of these for sometime (mainly for street photography and more). I prefer the LX3 and sold of the GX200. It has a superbly fast AF speed.
Not forgetting aperture f2 with an image stabliser that is able to push it to another 0.5 stops more (when shooting hand-held). Making night shots easier.
The other thing that I prefer about it was the LX3 allows me to have a high-speed flash sync.
These plus points was enough to persuade me to change.

But with comparison to the GRDs, the GRDIII became the main stay.

Will take this in a slightly different direction. Have had an LX3 for over a year, and just got the GX100. Why? Besides liking the image quality of the Ricoh am finally fed up with two issues on the LX3. The more minor is the toggle lever. No problems, but still awkward to use. More of an issue is the mode dial. It moves so freely that it is easily jostled during transport. Had a lot of grab shots ruined last year on vacation because it had gone to SCN mode which had been set for something entirely different.

Yes, the latter is my fault. But when bike riding, can't always be able to make sure everything is set just so before firing.

Also have come to dislike the lens cap, but that can be hacked with a modified LC-1.
