Thanks Pavel for your try. As I posted before, when you apply the AUTO TONE in LR3 Beta, the soft makes a good highlight restoration. I´m posting now another file processed with LR3 Beta 2 (original GRD2 DNG, exported TIF and LR preset). I really like the results. The pictures looks very sharp with acceptable noise for printing (this picture was taken through a very thick glass, handheld and with the 40mm attached!!). Do I need a X1 or GF1 for this series? I don´t think so. GR lens is amazingly sharp! I would like to have your opinion about this try (I´ve expended just 5 minutos to get this result)

Something happened with the Tif file...
Here are the new links (with a Jpg added)

I printed the (_0018342.tif) developed in LR3 Beta 2 at 30x30 cm in the EPSON Semigloss Paper (250g/m2) that was posted in my last thread and WOW!!! It looks like a 24MB file from a u$s 3.000 D-SRL!!! (at least at this size, ja!) Full of detail, vivid color, VERY low NOISE and very sharp!
Conclusions of the success of this test: GRD2 lenses at f2.4 with spot metering (28+40mm with adaptor) + ISO 80 + LR3 Beta 2 RAW development engine. Now I feel that I can continue with my Night ISO 80 series. I´ll be posting the intermediate results very soon. Thanks to all who supported me in this discovery.

Come now, Guillermo, that's no fun ... There must be something distant and exotic to lust after ... Perhaps a GRD III? ...

By the way, Jeremy, have you check the files I´ve posted about my test? What do you thinks about how the GRD2 works at ISO 80 f2.4? I´ll be glad to have your feedback.
Look at the processed files (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7858877/_0018342.jpg

Have I found the right way of shooting this pictures?
