Interesting articles. There seems to be a number of plans to invade Scotland during WWII.

Tim & Peter,

Thanks for joining-in and I'm glad you found it interesting. I think there was an invasion paranoia in 1940 which with the benefit of hindsight and post conflict intelligence was probably overblown. However, it's easy to be wise after the event and there was a morale boost to getting everyone involved in preparing together against a common threat even if all that meant was planting poles in the sand.
