Thank you Ken for your nice words! And thank you everyone on this forum for all your nice contributions and very friendly and civil atmosphere you created here. I don't want to sound pathetic, but this forum really is a very special place. I'm very proud of what this forum has become. I consider everyone of you a very close friend. We may not be the biggest photographic forum, but we are probably one of the friendliest forums out there ;) Well done folks!

I feel much the same as the sentiment in this post. I feel its a refuge from some of the poor behavior elsewhere. One forum I left even has terrible behavior from a few moderators so they are not worth your time.

I consider all of you my friends and I look forward to "seeing" you all on a daily basis, you all help me forget the "daily grind" as they say - lately I have only had time to lurk sorry, but I am here avidly reading your posts and looking at your images.

I will go as far to say I keep and buy Ricoh's because of this forum, its a pleasure and a privilege to be involved.
Thanks again Pavel for keeping things ticking along.

As a final note from me, I will add, to anyone from Ricoh Corporate who visits here we'd be very happy to make your acquaintance and I think speaking for most here, we'd love to have your presence and perhaps feedback how much we enjoy the products.
Tim

I know it's a bit late (I have a lot of catching up to do), but I give you a little pat on the back for such lovely words Ken, and for initiating this topic - very well said indeed. I agree with all that's been said so far, so don't really have much else to add, other than to also pass on my thanks to Pavel for providing us with such a fantastic online community. I love that it enables me to connect with others from around the world who share the love for photography and Ricoh cameras - not something I would be able to do otherwise. I also love that I feel quite "safe" on here - I could not join this community if I felt that it was a place where I would be vulnerable to hostile behaviour from other members - something that seems quite the norm on other forums. The relatively small number of members on here means that I can get to know people a lot better than if the forum was much larger, making the whole experience more meaningful. For these reasons, this is the first online forum I have ever joined, and the only one in which I actively participate, and to which I donate. So thank you to all forum members for making this such a wonderful place to be ;) :D .
Cheers, Athena.

I couldn't say it better Ken :D
Bravo!
This is a fantastic forum, and I am really enjoying reading and posting here.
Thanks for posting this Ken, and Pavel thanks for making this all possible (this reminds me it's time for my forum donation. I hope to do this today or tomorrow Pavel).
Best wishes,

Genster

Somehow I missed your post Ken but I too want to say thanks for your words as it really rings true on how everyone on here seems like family.

Thanks Athena, Genster & Duane! It's never too late to express one's sentiments. The Ricoh Forum certainly stands out from most of the others on the internet.:D

Hello, I have been gone from the forums a while, due to various and sundry reasons (primarily an expensive Ricoh purchase made online that went wrong.) I miss the people here, though, and would like to say in addition to all the previous statements, that the photos posted here are very high quality. If you look at other photo forums around, the percentage of poor quality photos submitted is quite high. Here, I feel quite inadequate to post, everyone's photos are so beautiful, everyone is an artist, :D

That's a very nice comment Marana, and I'm sorry to hear about your 'purchase gone wrong'. I do seem to remember though that you posted one of the loveliest animal photos I'd seen for quite a while - of your chihuahua, and others that were also of a very high quality. This being one of the friendliest forums around(if not the most) you're sure to get encouraging comments no matter what you post.........and you may surprise yourself! ;)
