Thanks all!
I admit to some PP to enhance the contrast difference. I am of the opinion that when shooting RAW one is allowed to add a personal interpretation as to how the final image should look/story it should tell, rather than leaving it up to the JPEG software designers to do it for you. However this is probably a topic for Tim's thought-provoking philosophy thread!
