Switzerland is celebrating their national holiday today. In Basel celebration took place yesterday, already. Of course the presence of alphorn players is a must.

Looking real good. I prefer the tonal separation from the GXR but the Sony ain't bad either.....

Great subject, nicely phoographed, and I'm always interested to see different traditional costumes.

Thank you both. I like the composure of the performers. They are playing with heart and soul. I forgot to mention that b&w conversion took place in silver effex pro 2. Any lack of tonal separation is my fault and not caused by the camera. I'm very pleased with the Sony, it's the compact camera I was waiting for since I started with photography 30 years ago. Of course it has the typical linitations in terms of depth of field but it's worth every penny. And it's very intuitive to use.
