Much thanks for your very fine comments Tim & Peter

... we visited a small historic town that we like very much the last week - it is a friendly place and even when extremely busy with visitors it retains a peaceful feeling. What surprised though - was the amount of people with digital cameras - people of all ages were busy snapping away but the direction they took - was all pointing upwards to the buildings around them, this is very nice of course - to capture an historic building to take home and look at later but i contemplated the many thousands of images that would have been taken in the time i was there and how they would have in the most ...perhaps all have been so similar any slight difference would be of little consequence - then i thought of the previous few days photography and following few days photography around the town with all the (many-many) digitals firing away at the same buildings and so breeding..... on and on and on of all the same - and after how many are deleted

but this all made my head feel decidely scrambled so needed a coffee to relax
I saw one chappy with film in his camera that day - the feeling it gave me was good as i was most likely taking no more images than him even though i had three digitals in my bag
There are two rolls sitting next to my Rollei and a friend with the facilities to develop them - so the future still looks bright
Kindest Regards - Kort .
P.S - heres one more
