Mixed Architecture

Postby Wiener » Sun Jan 24, 2016 11:59 am

A few from my short walk around Cromarty yesterday. It is an interesting place to walk round with big architectural contrasts sitting side by side. This is partly due to it's mixed history as a commercial port and fishing community, one being substantially wealthier than the other, though the sea being the common factor linking both.

I like 1 and 4. Love that blue in the first picture.

I've enjoyed going on the walk with you.
We love this style of architecture and old town feel.

The door and the post office pics could be used to resurrect the "Old Doors" thread...
I think I have some to go for that soon.
