The Wedding Dress

Postby Duane Pandorf » Thu Aug 16, 2012 7:53 am

Had a meetup this past weekend in Asheville, NC with some photographers from the Rangefinderforums and grabbed this one when I had to go feed the parking meter for my car.

Very good use of a "tromploy" setting. Nice one Duane!

Thanks everyone. I haven't had the camera out much the past few days. And I'm still trying to get through over 400 images I took while at a week long Boy Scout Summer camp two weeks ago. I just wish I had more time in Asheville with the other Range Finder Forum photographers. A nice group of guys.

BTW, I'm also busy getting ready for a major road trip with the family. In the final planning stages but will be getting on the road a week from this Saturday for a 9 week trip pulling our Airstream to west of the US Rocky Mountains.

Nice shot Duane! Decisive moment of the shooting...Maybe I would prefer a cut out of the 3 persons involved...with slighlty more dress details...
Take care, AlbertTRAL

Thanks Albert. I spent more time than you may know with my crop tool. There's actually another person in this photo out to the left. I did not want to get much closer when I took the photo as I assume this to be a paid gig. But I did play with a cropped version of just the two. Maybe I will look at that version again.

I was sure you had played cropping the shot! :D
Could be interesting to see your other option... ;)
