Re: Associate, Royal Photographic Society (with a GR)

Hi Rob, A really nice set of images you have directed us to in this post. They hang together wonderfully as a series because of there similar perspective. The slightly less abstract ones suit my eye best, with 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 (Chruchill Barriers) and 13 working wonders for me! Congratulations, a...

Re: Winter Sunshine

It was a good moment! Just driving past as the late afternoon sun came out for a moment...I felt something was there but this is the only once that came close to capturing the memory. May yet have a go at one or two of the others though. And thanks, quester and Tim, for your encouragement! A' the be...

Re: A Silver Limited GR II as well as the Macro adapter

Hi Tim,
Trying to figure out my need for this adapter...I still have a tele one for my GX100 and, although it did not add much there (or to the GXR equivalent), I would love a good sharp one for the GRII! Would make a great pocket-sized lens kit to carry around.

Re: a day at the races

Sitting here in the middle of a Scottish winter it is sometimes easy to forget aridity exists on this planet...looks thirsty, dehydrating work! Particularly loved the wind-blown rippled dune with the tyre mark...(looks like snake tracks, or have I been watching to much Indiana Jones? :D ) PS, a view...

Winter Sunshine

A brief blink of sunshine under a snow-laden sky. The colourful boats fair cheer the scene up! :)
With just a tiny little tweak to the sky carried out in Picassa... ;)
