Re: Associate, Royal Photographic Society (with a GR)

Hi Rob,
great to see you back here, its been a while.
A hearty congratulations also.
I like them all but 3,10, 12, 13, 14 are some of my favorites.
As Andy said, a great Ricoh advert, they should approach you for Ricoh Ambassador.

Re: Ricoh GRD first version 2004-2006 model.

Try a PM to member Schaki as he has a good handle on used Ricoh prices.

Re: Lightroom lens correction profile for Ricoh GR?

DxO Optic Pro has a distortion correction for the GR, it detects the camera model in the EXIF and offers to download it. The issue is that it may not had a profile for the 21mm. I think in the later FW you can manually set the 21mm as being attached so it shows in the EXIF, so I will have to give a ...

Re: A Silver Limited GR II as well as the Macro adapter

I'd like one http://photorumors.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Ricoh-GR-II-camera-body-550x358.jpg What's the diff between these http://www.pentax.com.cn/ricoh/product/images/gr/21.jpg My guess, the top one is GR II and the bottom is GR. The top one has a empty space...

Re: GRII vs. Fuji X70

X70 feels good in the hands and is heavier than my GR, image quality should be top notch from that fuji xtrans sensor as well. But the one handed quick access to all functions is a hands down win for GR. Hi Anjum, And welcome to the forum. Great to see another GR user here I've researched and read ...

Window Light

Art Deco Window and Sofa.
Not a Ricoh image this one, it was taken with my phone camera that has a Sony IMX 258 sensor.

Re: GRII vs. Fuji X70

Thanks for the review Stanislaw, The X70 interests me greatly. The control layout being different, I wonder if it will work better or worse. the flip screen is something I could occasionally use, but it could mean losing some build integrity of the GR. No fatter GR please. Some early reviews suggest...

Re: A Silver Limited GR II as well as the Macro adapter

Yeah, I am in two minds about the Macro adapter.
I've only occasionally reached for the GRD IV for its macro abilities.
I'll likely get it and give it a try.

Re: Winter Sunshine

I agree Quester, the lines make a lot of this image.
The lighting is almost like mood lighting. Either Some natural or added vignetting there which adds to the impact, drawing the eye.
Reflections also, this image has it all.
Cheers

Re: New GR lens adapter coming

I have recently specifically used my GRD IV for both its angle of view and macro capability. So I can understand this is a useful accessory for some users. It does not look large, although I see here - http://news.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/rim_info/2016/20160216_010434.html that The attached hood & ad...
