Re: Who's still enjoying their GXR?

Well I'm still enjoying my GXR. I over came my prejudices about zoom lenses and bought a new old stock A16 module from upgrade monkey which arrived in the UK in only 5 days - all for £120 including express delivery. As Martin Setvak has posted, this module makes the GXR the ideal travel camera. I'd...

On the job - recent self portrait

Hello all, I am still here, more lurking lately. Not much photography going on but I must push myself I feel. I dislike that term selfie but have been a "self portrait" taker for many decades. On recent google searches it seems selfie appears to be a image where the takers face is plainly ...

Re: the light at the end...

Hi Quester,
that is quite a unique image. I like the sunlight splitting though the gap and making a light path on the sand.

Re: Silkypix version 7.0

I've been using Dx0 version 8. I really like it, the interface is good, I find it performs ok on my slow old PC. Version 8 is free still, works with GR RAW and has a lens correction profile. - Most o...

Re: Hello from Missouri

Hi bbodine, I've also been a DP user, still have the DP2 but use the DP2 Merrill more. The DP2M and GR are a great complimentary pair. I once took just these two on holiday and they filled most of my needs. You do look fondly at the DP2M IQ but there were times the GR did a better job. Great to see ...

Re: from today's cycling

Very enjoyable series. That wall looks ancient.

I particularly like #3, the placement of the horizon does it.
Good choice of crop for the pano, they don't have to be super wide. This one works well.

great to see you back here, its been a while.
A hearty congratulations also.
I like them all but 3,10, 12, 13, 14 are some of my favorites.
As Andy said, a great Ricoh advert, they should approach you for Ricoh Ambassador.

Try a PM to member Schaki as he has a good handle on used Ricoh prices.
