Don't use auto ISO with flash. Set your shutter speed according to how much ambient light you want from the shutter, or to drag like at 1/15. Thanks very much folks, much appreciated! Turns out that this is a very unusual storm indeed - first snow in Cairo in 100 years, thousands of houses still without electricity in Jerusalem. Google "snow in the Mid-east" to see some of the mess...not on the scale of European and North Ameri...

I even had an idea to convert one of the heliars in a kind of shift arrangement so I could use it for stationary objects, shifting left and right and stitching the halves. The lens is after all meant for full frame ( I used it a lot for travel architec...

Photo is just right. I also use the Heliar much of the time. I use it on a few of the uh...uh... F word cameras. The results are outstanding.
