Re: Visit to a castle

Very nice Richard. I visited a few castles when I was in Hawick and hopefully will do so again this year.

I must say, I really don't need to much pushing to follow Pete's path and do the GXR again. Of course, you're not helping the situation at all.....

Re: Petach is back

Pete, this comes as a real surprise. The exiting of the "Beloved X100s". I gotta say, as much as I love my XP1's, the GXR is so much smaller and efficient.
I myself am happily in love with Penelope the White GRD4 and having a nice compact romance.
Good luck old man...seeya around...

Re: slight movement in M Mount

Pete, I don't recall any movement on my M Mount. It could be the locking tab so maybe try to put a little pressure on it to make it tighter.

Re: New GR fan

Welcome Denis. It seems the weather is bad all over the world. That's why you didn't get a faster response. You have a great camera there and it will open many doors for you.
Feel free to post some photos and post a link or two to your flickr etc.

If you care about the environment you'd choose the limited as its a green camera! ;)

Tim, if you get the Green model, I'll make sure to be envious.

Re: Button Issues

Take this with a few grains of salt.....I never had an issue doing this.....work slowly and carefully.... I use a Q-Tip and get some WD40 on it. Then I move the Q-Tip around the button and get some down inside. Works fine and WD40 will not mess up any contacts, on the other hand...it helps to mainta...
