Re: hello again

A nice moody collection (can't really call it a set). 'Red strap' is my favourite although I also really like the fogscapes. Interesting how we all hanker after new gear when we can get great results with our 'old' stuff. I think I need to spend more time with the GXR. While I like the A12 28 & ...

Re: As the mist lifts....

Thanks Quester. Still quite Spring like here so perhaps we have turned the corner? Up the hills today so I'm hoping for some more photo opportunities.

As the mist lifts....

The sun started to burn through as we reached the top of the hill.

Re: Stalking with the Agfamatic 108...

That's not Andy - he looks much more sinister than that and wouldn't go near an Agfamatic in any case.

I've no idea what a Leica Q is but I'm sure it must be very expensive.

Re: a short trip

Quite a contrast to my winter walk (just posted). What's going on in 3698? Is the car etc dumped or is someone having a picnic? Love the picture of the tank.

A winter walk

A crisp day here in the Scottish Highlands. We had to climb above the fog in the glens to reach sunlight and some difficult light (very bright). I had to resort to some fill-in flash (despite having the A16 fitted which vignettes) - hopefully not too artificial looking? frozen birch.jpg no fishing t...

I should remember to set the camera clock to local time...the photo was taken around 0840 but still after Andy was braving the fog & cold.

Re: Recent Travels in Scotland

Looking at this set again. You were certainly getting around. The cheese shop is still my favourite and I've only just noticed the reflection of the person with the flat hat in the door glass. Trinafour is great too and reminds me of driving the switch back descent in the MG.
