The day before Ophelia

Taken on the evening dog walk yesterday. Today required full wet weather kit and a list to windward. This field is next to our house and is Spaniel heaven when it's stubble - I hope they don't plough it soon!

looking in details

Here are a few shots taken in Abbotsford, once the home of famous Scottish author, Sir Walter Scott. It's a great place to visit with an excellent audio system to guide you around and non-flash photography is fine....I used the GXR A12 28 (didn't have the A12 50 with me). Re: GR1v vs GR21 size

Nicely put. Someone (thank you) seems to have taken down his stupid posts. Meantime, my GXR A12 28 is ready for a weekend outing with the Highland MG Owners' Club. I can only promise photos of MGs and also aircraft as we are going to the Scottish Museum of Flight. So nothing 'arty' I'm afraid. Richard

Re: Lamentation of Christ by Riccadonna

Excellent! Is that JC's drum kit in the background? It wouldn't be the same without the blanket.

Re: Reflections

Do you use PS? It helps to cut down highlights and brighten a bit shadows the you can give a bit of contrast with clarity. No but I probably should - however, I don't seem to have much time to post process. I did use some DRC on these shots (which is the advantage of the A16 over the A12 modules wh...

Re: Red Admiral

Thanks - that's about mid-zoom for the A16 - about 55mm in 35 mm terms. I could/should have zoomed a bit more although much more probably wouldn't have been able to focus (I've not cropped the post). In the end, it was an opportunity I had to snatch.
