Re: Stalking with the Agfamatic 108...

Stanislaw, I will do my best! Actually I never feel bad if I spend money and hit the spot with the purchase...and agree with your take on quality! Nice saying... I have a few interesting pieces of glass which I bought over the years for the GXR and, like your Noctilux, have no reason to part with th...

Re: Stalking with the Agfamatic 108...

That's not Andy - he looks much more sinister than that and wouldn't go near an Agfamatic in any case. I've no idea what a Leica Q is but I'm sure it must be very expensive. Richard Sinister indeed! I have likely been living on the Black Isle too long... :) Yes, the Q was not inexpensive but appare...

Re: Stalking with the Agfamatic 108...

Is the guy with camera a reflection of you wiener? :o . It still could be Q in your hands disguised as A . There`s peeping a bit of Peeping Tom in all of us. ;) . Is Q yours? If so that would make you a Ricoh traitor, you lucky one :x :D . I`m should be mad at Ricoh, first with their abandonment of...

Stalking with the Agfamatic 108...

Ran into Bridget and the paparazzi on my last Vienna visit. I really loved the humour of this window display.
All the best,

Blow-in wrote:Great colour balance Andy on the first shot - did you have to alter the white balance?

Richard

The colour balance was more or less out of the camera. I think I may have tried to adjust it but concluded that straight out of the camera was pretty much as good as it gets!

Re: Recent Travels in Scotland

Yes, the reflection on the door works well! Just luck though: I was more concentrated on getting the exposure right than following the action in the interior! And downhill through Trinafour in the snow and ice made breaking for the hairpins quite interesting...I have a rear wheel drive car at the mo...

Re: Morning has broken

Hi Richard,
I was a couple of hours too early to catch this view...I should get out of my bed later on these cold mornings! ;)

Re: GRdiii chassis screw

Hi reeluf, I had a similar issue with my GR and Johnsons sent me a replacement free of charge: since Pentax were bought over they are now the 'offical' Ricoh service agents...regardless, good service indeed! Definitely worth a try with your GRDIII issue, I would say. All the best, Andy Johnsons Phot...

Working Late

One from my current work place. Here they are construction a reinforced concrete valve chamber beside a pump storage shaft. The second photo is taken in the wood at the back of the site in slightly warmer moment. Still really pleased with the GRII's performance, especially when its relatively compac...
