Living Without A Third Dimension

Postby Wiener » Thu Oct 20, 2011 6:59 pm

Spotted this one today. The site next door has just been cleared by the demolition contractor and it was only really then that the true shape of the house next door was revealed...
No room to swing...well...any small rodent of your choice! :o
Tweaked a little in Silkypix Pro with a further vertical adjustment in Photoshop.

A bit tight living space it seems to be from this side of the building.

A quite bizzare image.
I've heard of small apartments but this is getting ridiculous. :D  ;)

Reminds me of the famous 'Flatiron' building in New York. http://nyc-architecture.com/GRP/GRP024.htm

We have a scaled down version here in Leeds too. http://img1.eyefetch.com/p/th/1019647-6715f3ab-d77d-45be-929e-fb5722d458e1l.jpg

I worked in it for a while, doing the website for a lettings agency.

I guess most congested cities have a couple squeezed away somewhere!
With this one though, it is more of a con than most in that it is deceitfully flat...or so it seems to me!

Could be a cheap place to live once you mastered the art of sleeping upright... ;)

Passed this way again today and noticed that in the last 6 months or so a roof apartment has been added to this seriously thin building...the wedge-end still looks quite a challenge though...

Great eye to bring that to an image. That's really a heck of a photo.
