Use Minolta MC/MD lenses on 12 M Mount module

I wonder, if I purchase one of the existing adapter for mounting Minolta MC/MD lenses on Leica M body, will my Minolta lens work with the 12M mount module ?
In other words, can I measure the esposition simply in stop down closing the aperture knob of the lens ? Or, when my lens is mounted on a 12 M mount module via a good adapter, the diaphragm blades will actually close when I close the aperture knob ?
This is a general question valid for any classic lens mount which would give much more value to the module itself.

Does anybody know the answer ?
