Discussion about Ricoh GXR M-mount module and lenses

at night all cats are grey...

Two with my latest ebay-shot: a high-numbered OM-Zuiko 50/1.4
Both were processed through LR 3.6
The first with f1.4 and the second with f2.0
All these Zuiko-lenses are incredible sharp like a rozor. :D

I used to have that lens on an OM1 - both great pieces of kit although the OM1 could be quite hard work at times to judge the exposure. I really like the locomotive picture - massive depth and spot on exposure....old 'East' rolling stock?

Very nice. If I ever put non-rangefinder glass on this camera, it'll probably be Zuiko OM glass.

Normally M- or LTM-Lenses are first choice, but sometimes pricy.
I get my 28/3.5, 50/1.4 and 135/2.8-Zuikos for 50,00 - 70,00 EUR so far (two of them incl. the hardcase).
And they are sharp like a razor, but at the opposite they are bigger than the rangefinder-lenses.
Cheers
Uwe

I still have my OM4 with a 40 f2 and 100 f2.8.
I think your cat is an awesome image, great detail but combined with tack sharpness.
I was surprised to see the 50 f1.4 perform, seem you got a good version. The one I had was soft at all apertures.

One Zuiko I had that was ridiculously tack sharp was the 135 f3.5. They are very cheap too. Maybe it was my sample but it was an excellent performer - till i dropped it :(
