The camera features the same sensor and lens as its predecessor but includes new Aperture/Shutter modes, new 1.23 million-dot VGA LCD monitor (the same as in the GRDIV), even faster AF and some new image processing modes, like the the Bleach Bypass introduced with the GRDIV. The camera availability is scheduled to 3.12.2011.Here are some additional/new CX6 features:
Direct Video Record button - what's really great, it's now possible to use the optical zoom, autofocus, and image stabilization while recording the video!
- Continuous AF - this feature should keep the moving subjects in focus
- Multi-Face Detection AF
- Super-resolution technology to achieve high resolution picture quality
- Zoom Assist Monitor
