Some news about R10 travel! Adam sent it on 17th March via DPD and the camera is on its way to Darius (Lithuania/Vilnius). What's really funny, the R10 just today (again) visited Zilina and then headed to Ostrava in Czech Republic (a place where I'm originally from). I think the next stop will be somewhere in Poland and then finally Vilnius? Stay tuned! ;)

Ha! There's a new feature suggestion comming from this project: camera tracking sensor!! :D

BTW, will someone upgrade R10 firmware while traveling?

Heh, built-in GPS with geotagging would a very useful addition to Ricoh cameras.

The R10 is updated with the latest FW, but I'm sure if there will be new one, someone will update the camera.

BTW, the camera reached Katowice - Poland! ;)

Isn't it already "done"?

Ok, not built in, but close ;-)

Anyway, my "feature" suggestion was a kind of: where the hell is my camera? And then she starts whistling ...

This morning, R10 leaved Warszawa - Poland and around 20:00 finally reached Kaunas - Lithuania! If I'm not mistaken, it should be delivered tomorrow to Darius! ;)

Rui, another GPS enabled Ricoh was G3. But yes, camera responding on user's whistle would be cool. And what about a camera with small legs? :)
