GRDII camera reviews on the web...

I'd like to add my thoughts on the GRD II. I've been using this camera since February 2008 and am really enjoying the results. If you're interested my review is at:

My interests are in using the GRD II for documentary subjects and this review aims to give a flavour of user experience for documentary photography.

Hello Duncan and welcome here! Great review! We can only hope that Ricoh guys read all these reviews, listen user opinions (as they mostly do) and implement most of the user comments into the future GRD incarnations. I personally don't care about noise..not much. But it would be definitely great to get faster startup and even more silent focus. R8 is both fast starter and very silent performer, so why not GRD? But what would be really great is enhanced dynamic range and of course, the ability to play with out of focus rendering. Unfortunately, both things require larger sensor and this is not easy if we want the same body size and lens performance.

I did not have a GRD1, not a GRD3. I´m a proud owner of a GRD2. Not for sale. It´s just my main camera. Period.

GRDII cameras are very much reliable and one of the best camera which offers high quality pictures and images. You can check such camera reviews Online and will be able to know more about them.
