VF alignment

A while ago I realised that suddenly all new my photos were tilted to the left. I thought that I was being slightly careless or lop-sided. But then I remembered that i was carefully lining up all my photos (those that needed it) with those v-finder bright-lines. When I checked the finder I saw that the bright-lines were tilted to the right. I was using a new GR1v that i had just bought to replace a GR1s.

Now I know why the problem, I can kind of compensate by eye but I'd like to know if it can be fixed. Any ideas please?
