And another thing, it is unacceptable, in my view, to be publicly commenting on your preference for a picture in a competition before voting has finished. This has a biasing effect on voting. Besides, just because you prefer a certain picture, doesn't make it a fact that that picture is 'the best' picture - personal preferences really are a subjective matter in the end. I've also seen plenty of times in these competitions where a picture/s can be in the lead at the start of voting, but not end up winning - so you cannot say it is "the sure winner" (no offence to fabuchan, btw - if you win, it's because you deserved to win).
Cheers, Athena.

It's fine for you to have your opinion, but not to be rude to others. Apology accepted ;) .
Cheers, Athena.

Now look what you've done. my GX was so upset at all this bickering that it's thrown a lens fault. The lens extends but the flaps stay jammed shut and the zoom doesn't work. It's time to start looking for another, I think.

You guys can't choose good photo for win. I mean wtf. Stupid birds on sky. What kind of _________ ( put your word here ) you must to be, when you choose as a wining photo.

My doubts that you can't choose it are seem pretty fair when I look up into votes here.

OK, the shine on is really good photo no doubts that is the sure winner.

But the votes for some others photo, I mean .... are you stupid or what?

Insulting the users of this forum is unacceptable. This forum is made up of members from all walks of life. Some are gifted amateurs, others professional photographers. Every one an individual and every one with their own tastes, their own preferences. You may not agree with others, and that's absolutely fine, but to call the members "stupid".... no.... not acceptable.

panonski, comments like yours are definitely unwelcome here. No matter if they were mean or not. It's very low to comment someone's work or taste. Constructive criticism is of course welcome. But I'm afraid, your comments were far from constructive opinion! If it was some kind of joke, then I'm afraid, we don't share the same sense of humor. And the next thing what's not OK is commenting not yet finished voting. Please weigh your words more carefully next time. I think you owe an apology to fellow forum members?

yeah ok,

I like to say things in the way how I seen them. Of course my sense of criticism isn't welcome always (or all the time ) but I like to say it.

Of course criticism of someone taste is some kind of holly cow. Everyone has his own sense of taste. 8-)

I would like to tell some volks here how much I hate when someone for best photo choose obviously lowest quality, instead to vote for someone who deserve vote.

If you are some joke photographer who thinks that your any shoot can participate in voting, that insults me a little. And specially when I see someone to vote for that.

I like to say things in my sharp way. I know many of us dislike that way of speaking. But I wish to send this message to volks here.

If you got some low quality photo, without any taste, rhitm, message, don't post it here, everyone can do that :D

Well panonski, I'm afraid, this forum is not place for you. Most of us here are amateurs with passion for photography and absolutely no intention to become next H. C. Bresson. If your plans are different, maybe you should find a better place for you and your manners?

It's perfectly fine to not like someone's work and the way you can express your opinion is to vote for another photo. This is what's voting for. What's not fine is to publicly express YOUR PERSONAL opinion about people who voted for photo(s) you don't like, and especially to criticize the photo you don't like in such harsh tone. You don't like the photo? Fine! It's your right. But I'm afraid, you have absolutely NO RIGHT to criticize other people's work, mainly because of much shorter record on this forum. It's your last chance to fix the things up.
